Immerse yourself in a full-day tour of the "Golden City." With a knowledgeable English-speaking guide, and a driver at disposal for half of the day (4-hours), you'll be able to tour the major city highlights as well as experience local Prague and see all of what this amazing place has to offer.
Embark on an introductory tour of the “Golden City.” You will visit numerous iconic sights, walk through Wenceslas Square which houses the majestic State Opera, the National Museum, and of course the famous statue of St. Wenceslas. You will also visit Charles Square and the banks of the Vltava River, where you can cross the Charles Bridge. Constructed between the 14th and 15th centuries, its 16 pillars and gothic scape are a sight to see, especially in the the evening with the gloom of the lamp lights. You will also see the Rudolfinum, the renowned neo-Renaissance concert hall.
You can make your way up to the prestigious Prague Castle, making sure to view the Archbishop Palace and admire its Rococo style facade. The Prague Castle will be a visit to remember. The castle, founded in the late 800s by Prince Borivoj, is the largest in the world, with three courtyards, museums, a cathedral, and several old world lanes. The castle has seen many architectural periods, including Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance, and you will be able to explore the different aspects of each as you tour through the beautiful complex. On your tour, you'll stop in the St. Vitus Cathedral and the old Royal Palace, as well as the quaint Golden Lane of miniature houses.
