Explore Monet's Home in the Giverny Countryside

With a knowledgeable English-speaking driver, travel along beautiful country roads to the quaint village of Giverny, where famous Impressionist painter Claude Monet lived. Do some independent sightseeing of the grounds, or if you prefer, you can opt for a tour with a private, English-speaking guide (see rates below).

 

Claude Monet, who founded the Impressionist school, lived in Giverny for 43 years. His house, garden, and the village of Giverny were often showcased in his best works. Concerning the water lilies and Japanese bridge, came from his own garden. 

 

Walking through his estate, visitors can still feel the atmosphere that reigned at his home and marvel at the floral compositions and inspirations. The tour will take you through his house and studio, gardens, and over to the water garden to see the famous Japanese bridge itself.

 

 

Pick-Up/Drop-Off: Your driver will pick you up from your Paris city-centre hotel. At the conclusion of your tour, your driver will drop you back at the hotel, or at a point within the city-centre.

 

Includes: Knowledgeable English-speaking driver for up to 5-hours.

 

Excludes: Driver Gratuity, Extra Hours, Extra Kilometres, Entrance Fees to Monet's home and gardens, Food and Beverage.

  • Please be aware that the driver, while knowledgeable, is not a licensed guide, and may not leave the vehicle to guide on foot.
