Spree Forest Excursion
The Land of Punts and Pickles
DURATION: UP TO 8-HOURS
Take a trip down south to this UNESCO world heritage site. With an English-speaking driver, explore the vast Spreewald biosphere for a day. Canoe, fish, cycle, or walk. These are just some of the ways the Spreewald can be explored.
Shaped by the events of the last Ice Age, the receding ice and water molded the landscape into what is now the magnificent Spreewald. Carved by intricate tributaries and rivers, you will get the chance to take in the landscape in a canoe or a punt. If you would like to stay on land there are a variety of ways to get around from walking, to bicycling, and even horseback riding. There are several museums along the way you can visit, including a pickle/cucumber exhibition, costume gallery, an old farm house, and many more. You can also rest at one of many open air restaurants and sample some of the finest local cuisine. Do not miss out on this exciting tour.
Pick-Up/Drop-Off: Your driver will meet you in the lobby of your Berlin city-centre hotel. At the conclusion of the tour, your driver can drop you back at your hotel or at a city-centre location.
Includes: Knowledgable English-speaking driver guide for up to 8-hours.
Excludes: Guide Gratuity, Extra Hours.
NOTE:
- The driver, while knowledgeable, is not a licensed guide, and may not leave the vehicle to guide on foot.
