Get away from the city with your English-speaking driver and visit a fairy-tale castle! Tucked away in the Bavarian countryside, come see the structure that inspired Walt Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" castle in Disneyland. 

Commisioned by "Mad" King Ludwig II in 1869, this castle combined designs from medieval and romanesque revival to reflect the operas of Richard Wagner, a close friend of the king. You will marvel at the panoramic view of the countryside and be awed by the shear size of the grounds. Though not every floor was finished, the third and fourth floor rooms of the palace were completed for use by the King in 1886. There are 15 rooms open to explore on these floors, while the first and second have been converted into a shop, cafeteria, and multimedia room.

Pick-Up/Drop-Off: Your guide will meet you in the lobby of your Munich city-centre hotel. At the conclusion of the tour, your driver can drop you back at your hotel or at a city-centre location.
