SIGHTSEEING AND EXCURSION
Garmisch-Oberammergau Excursion
Mountain Retreat

DURATION: UP TO 10 HOURS

Visit one of the best winter sports resorts in all of Europe on this exciting day trip. Along with your English-speaking driver, you will make your way to the very south of Germany to see not only Garmisch, but the town of Oberammergau.

Garmisch is home to Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze, which makes it the perfect spot for winter sports. The olympic stadium and ski slope from the 1936 winter olympic games have been preserved to make a popular tourist excursion. The whole area boasts amazing ski resorts, but retains the tranquility of a cozy mountain town. Summer or winter, Garmisch has a wide assortment of activities to provide.

Close by is the equally as cozy village Oberammergau. If you are interested in a more quiet getaway, then this town is for you. Over the years, the town has become famous for its elaboate woodcarvings and its Easter Recreation plays. Either town you visit is sure to make you fall in love with the charms of the Alps.

Pick-Up/Drop-Off: Your guide will meet you in the lobby of your Munich city-centre hotel. At the conclusion of the tour, your driver can drop you back at your hotel or at a city-centre location.

Includes: Knowledgable English-speaking driver guide for up to 10-hours

Excludes: Guide Gratuity, Extra Hours. Admission fees.

NOTE:

  • The driver, while knowledgeable, is not a licensed guide, and may not leave the vehicle to guide on foot.
