DURATION: UP TO 10-HOURS

On this private full-day excursion with one of our knowledgeable English-speaking driver-guides, you will visit the coast of Ligura, known as the Italian Riviera, to discover the lovely fishing villages which, together, form the Cinque Terre (the "Five Lands"). 

Beginning in Florence, you will drive through the picturesque Western part of Tuscany. While you take in the view, your driver-guide will provide information and context related to some of the highlights you pass, such as Lucca, Carrara and La Spezia.

Upon reaching Liguria, you will have the opportunity to visit four of the five villages of the Cinque Terre National Park. Along with your driver-guide, you will utilize the local boat or train to move between the villages. He/She will suggest the best itinerary and means of transport according to the weather conditions on the day of your tour.

Your driver-guide will also suggest a good restaurant in Vernazza where you can have lunch, and if interested, sample the local traditional specialties like pasta “Trofie” with pesto sauce, grilled sea bass and stuffed mussels. In the afternoon you will visit Corniglia, the most unique of the five villages, where you can enjoy a walk in the narrow streets and if you like, you can have a delicious gelato.

While driving back towards Florence, you will have the opportunity to stop to take unforgettable photos.

Pick-up/Drop-off: Our driver-guide will pick you up from your Florence Hotel. At the conclusion of the excursion you will be dropped back off at your hotel in Florence.
