With one of our local expert guides, you will discover some of Florence's most famous sites, including the Palazzo Vecchio, the Ponte Vecchio, and the breathtaking Duomo.
Your first stop will be the Piazza del Duomo, the very heart and soul of this Renaissance City! Here, you can admire the Cathedral of Florence with its marble panels in various shades of green and pink bordered by white, and crowned by the Brunelleschi’s famous Dome. In the same square, observe Giotto’s Bell Tower and the Baptistery of Saint John with its impressive "Gates of Paradise".
The wonderful colours of the marbles that cover the buildings in the religious centre of Florence beautifully contrast with the buildings that you will discover next, as you walk through the oldest part of the city.
On the way, our knowledgeable guide will show you the very old city centre, Piazza della Repubblica, as well as the Orsanmichele Church. You will then reach Piazza della Signoria, the political center of Florence, and home to Palazzo Vecchio, the City Hall. Pass the courtyard of the illustrious Gallery of the Uffizi to reach the Lungarno, the road that runs along the river Arno. Your tour will end here, where you can enjoy most splendid views of Ponte Vecchio.
