One of our expert local guides will meet you in the lobby of your Rome City-Centre Hotel. With the guide’s assistance, you will engage a taxi (paid locally) to the Coliseum to begin a private 3-hour walking tour of Ancient Rome, focusing on the Coliseum and Roman Forum.
Your private guide will bring Ancient Rome to life by taking you through the ruins and recounting the exciting events that took place in this thriving capitol, thousands of years ago. Your guide will help recreate the experience of the Roman citizens when they entered the amphitheater to watch the gladiators battle and the animals race and fight! You will also explore the Palatine Hill, where, according to legend, the city was founded, and walk through the impressive ruins of the Roman Forum, the heart of the Ancient Roman Empire.
Your guide will take you on a 3-hour tour where you will skip the line and enter:
- The Coliseum
- The Roman Forum
- The Palatine Hill
Pick-up/Drop-off: Our guide will meet you in the lobby of your Rome City-Centre Hotel; together, you'll engage a taxi (paid locally) to the Coliseum, to begin your tour. At the conclusion of your tour, you can engage a taxi back to the hotel or your guide may provide other sightseeing or dining suggestions.
Includes: Private English-speaking guide for 3-hours, Pre-reserved entrance tickets to the Coliseum and Roman Forum.
Excludes: Guide Gratuity, Extra Hours, Taxi Fares to/from the Coliseum (to be paid locally by the client).
