A Fantasy Venice Tour Fit for All Ages

A network of islands with streets made of water, boats instead of cars, ancient mansions and mysterious alleyways. The labyrinth-like city of Venice is a fantasy attraction for adults and children alike.
On a private walking and boating tour, a knowledgeable English-speaking guide will weave you through the city, starting at St. Mark’s Square, which features fantastic architecture, decorated with gold and rich colors. Also present are a variety of animal statues, like the Four Horses on the Loggia. Others come from the world of mythology, like the griffon, (winged lion) and the dragon.
Afterward, you will be boating for one hour along the canals on a private watertaxi, taking pictures and learning how a city could be built on water and be more fascinating than ever. Venice boasts intricate mazes of canals winding through the old city, with mysterious doors opening directly onto the water, strange multicolored pilings stuck in the canals, and bizarre “firefighter,” “ambulance,” and “police” boats.
You will complete your visit exploring the calm and evocative backstreets and squares of Castello or Dorsoduro, where, in addition to the countless charms Venice offers, there is also a wide variety of ice cream parlors and pizza places to explore. Of course there will be time to stop for a yummy gelato.
We will be sure to include the Venetian history as well, weaved from countless adventures and travels to exotic lands. Children will of course be familiar with the name Marco Polo, but perhaps they don’t know the story of his life, which begins here in Venice!

Pick-Up/Drop-Off: Our guide will pick you up from your Venice city-centre hotel. The tour will conclude at a point within the city-centre.
