Full-Day Poland Countryside Excursion
Spend a Day in the Lush Countryside of Poland

DURATION: UP TO 8-HOURS

Explore the countryside of Poland, just outside of the bustling capital. With a knowledgeable English-speaking guide, you will tour through Zelazowa Wola, the birthplace of Frederic Chopin, visit the Gothic church of Brochow Village, walk the grounds of Nieborow Palace, and stroll through the Mazovian town of Lowicz.

In Zelazowa Wola, you will be able to view the birthplace of renowned composer and pianist Frederic Chopin. Chopin was born on the estate of the Count of Skarbek on March 1st, 1810. Though the family moved to Warsaw less than a year after his birth, they often returned as guests of the Count and maintained close ties with the residence.

The estate gained recognition as Chopin's birthplace in the 1930s and was turned into a museum dedicated to the composer, containing his keepsakes, instruments, and other belongings. The grounds were recently renovated and landscaped and offer a pleasant visit into the life of the composer.

Travel down to Brochow to see a 16th century fortified Gothic church. This church is notably where Frederic Chopin's parents were married, and also where he was baptized. It holds architectural history and is an amazing sight to stop at.

What started as a small 12th century settlement would become the great town of Nieborow and Baroque palace. The palace experienced several facial changes, from Gothic to Renaissance to its current Baroque style, while its interior showcases a Rococo style. The famous English gardens of Arkadia are worth a walk through, as well the the Baroque park of Nieborow.

Then, conclude your visit in the countryside with a pleasant visit to Lowicz, one of the oldest towns in Poland. The town dates back to the early 12th century, with its notable triangular town square that was built in the early 1400s and still contains later Renaissance cobble stone. Among its old houses and monuments is the basilica, styled in Baroque and Renaissance elements, visited by Pope John Paul II in 1999.
